Transportation Services
The Transportation Division provides a range of transportation planning services in coordination with the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The mix of activities changes from year to year depending on GDOT and local government needs, but projects and programs fall within one or more of the following categories:
- Project Coordination: Assessing developments of regional impacts, participating in regional and statewide committee meeting.
- State Transportation Improvement Program Assistance: Assisting with public outreach efforts.
- Plan Development: Developing and implementing regional and multi-jurisdictional transportation plans and work programs.
- Technical Reports: Drafting traffic and freight generator reports, re-zoning and land development impact reports, environmental justice reports.
