Personnel and Compensation Studies
The RDC's Local Government Services staff have successfully implemented new personnel systems in a number of our local jurisdictions. The projects can be tailored to meet the local government's needs.
Personnel projects entail gaining insight into each individual’s job, revising the job descriptions, assigning values to the job factors of each job, and then pricing each job appropriately for internal and external equity and market value. This process will allow governments and non-profit organizations to remain competitive with other similar organizations in the marketplace by retaining and recruiting better-qualified and highly skilled employees.
