Kinship Care

The Kinship Care program is a partnership between the Area Agency on Aging and the Medical College of Georgia. The program assists relatives who are raising the children of another family member through:

• monthly support groups
• information and referral to community services
• emotional support through telephone assistance, and community education programs
• scholarships for summer camps for children in qualified families
• counseling and limited legal assistance in guardianship cases
