Health and Wellness

The Wellness Program is aimed at increasing the ability of older adults to perform everyday activities and continue living in their own homes. Activities are provided through local providers and are focused on health promotion and disease prevention. Wellness services include:

• health promotion through nutrition screening, education, and counseling
• physical fitness and exercise
• medications management
• fall prevention
• education, screening, and management of chronic diseases
• Senior Farmer’s Market
• walking clubs
